Randy R. Cowherd has over 50 jury trials and 40 appellate actions in his experience. Randy was named the David J. Dixon Appellate Advocacy award in 1997 by the Missouri Bar Foundation.
Randy has defended nineteen medical malpractice cases. In 2009, seven of those cases were named in the Missouri Lawyer’s Weekly Top Defense Verdicts. Randy’s verdicts have ranked as follows: 2008 Top Defense Verdict Number 11; 2009 Top Defense Verdicts Numbers 8, 13, 29, and 49; 2010 Top Defense Verdict Number 41; and 2011 Top Defense Verdict Number 11. Randy was named the First Winningest Defense Lawyer for 2009 by Missouri Lawyer’s Weekly. He has received an AV “Preeminent” rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
He also had the Top Defense Verdict in 2009. Randy was selected by peer recognition and professional achievement in the Super Lawyer Section of the Top Attorneys in Missouri and Kansas by the KC Magazine in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014.
